Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy of Texas Access

Our Privacy Policy is pretty simple. All information about our clients and their projects is the property of the State of Texas and is confidential information.

We do not share any information about our clients or their projects, including their subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, etc., with any third party not verifiably and directly associated with a particular project; This includes plan review reports, inspection reports, forms, construction documents, involved parties, contact information, and other work product and other information. 'Verifiably and directly associated with' means persons that are already part of the official TDLR record for the project (i.e. owner, design professional, owner's designated agent, tenant, etc.), or persons that have been part of emailed correspondence for the project generated by one of the persons of record.

The ONLY exceptions to the above is information that is already in the public domain as provided in the TDLR's publicly advertised Architectural Barriers Projects database, or as may be necessary between Texas Access and the TDLR as required by the Administrative Rules and RAS Procedures, or between Texas Access and another Registered Accessibility Specialist hired by the owner to facilitate the transfer of a TABS project for an inspection.

Persons wanting information that is not publicly available must contact the Public Information Coordinator at the Office of the General Counsel:
